Worker information
Hermana uses a central repository for worker data. All modules in Hermana are connected to this, so that the modules use up-to-date worker information at all times. By using the self-service module, you have access to all information about yourself, as well as the opportunity to update this. When you quit your job, you can ask your employer to «forget you» by anonymizing all data about you in Hermana. Your worker information can then no longer be associated with you as a person.

Self-service
By using the self-service module for managers, you can easily update and manage worker information, as well as perform tasks on behalf of the workers in your department. In addition, as a manager you have access to analytical information about your own department. This information gives you a better understanding and a good basis for decision-making.
You use the organization chart in Hermana to visualize the structure of the organization, which workers belong to the various units or departments, and to whom each worker reports. This is relevant, among other things, when you have to approve timesheets, conduct appraisals and prepare development plans.

Integration
Worker information and information about the organizational structure can be shared with other IT systems using the integration capabilities in Hermana. Hermana is built on an open standard (HR-XML) developed by the HR Open Standards Consortium. This is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to develop a standard for the exchange of data between HR applications.
